Web Developer

About the role

We are looking for a Web Developer responsible for the coding and implementing design and features of a website according to a company’s specifications. Once a website has been created, a Web Developer will generally assist with the maintenance and upkeep of the website.

Key Responsibilities

●     Develop,maintain, and improve company’s (Sirqo/AutoDeal) web platform and internal systems

●     Provide input on project related technical matters, including development approaches, database structures, ad hoc technical issues and questions on environment and technical specifications

●     Collaborate with Product, Sales, and Operations teams to deliver business-driven solutions

●     Optimize website performance, speed, and scalability for high-traffic usage

●     Trouble shoot bugs, issues, and system bottlenecks

●     Write clean,maintainable, and well-documented code

●     Provide development estimates

●     Create unit tests for the code base.

●     Participate and contribute to backlog refinement and sprint planning

●     Dig into frameworks and libraries to troubleshoot application defect, enhance existing application or develop new solution in line with the overall architecture of the application landscape

●     Cooperate with web designers to match visual design intent

Qualifications

●       Bachelor's/College Degree in Computer Science, Information Technologies, Engineering(Computer/ Telecommunication), Science & Technology, or equivalent

●       Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures

●       Advance proficiency on the following languages (PHP7+,HTML, Javascipt, Symfony,Git among others)

●       With at least 3-4 years experience in web development preferred

●       Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

●       Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
